Hi, I've done the numbers, and I would qualify for HSMP prior earnings after 5 months working in my new job. So would it be possible to get HSMP approval in one month, as my current leave to remain expires in 6, even with the expedited decision request? However, there is one month where I was out of ...

For housing, it is best to get a short let lease. This will cost more than a long let, but it includes all of your utilities (except telephone) council taxes, and everything else. Hi R, I'm American, and although I can't speak for the rest of the country, I did not encounter any anti-American sentiment here in London. In fact, with a lot of the banks here being American like Goldmans, Merrills, that it was more of a benefit than being a hindrance. But I don't know how it is ...

Earnings criteria question?

Hi, I have a question regarding the HSMP prior earning qualification. I am currently on a Work Permit, but my last job was not paying the HSMP qualification mark. My new job is paying above the HSMP qualification mark, but from the work permit transfer approval, you have 6 months to apply for ILR ...

Science/technology graduates - leave to remain

Hi there, Workpermit.com, and the www.workingintheuk.gov.uk website both mention a scheme where graduates of science and technology courses from UK universities will get a 12 month leave to remain with no restrictions on work. Is this MBA scheme what they were referring to, or will there be a ...
