Re: Mom and nephew visitor visa

Yes, my nephew parents will be providing their wage slips to show that they earn enough to pay for his journey.
My Mom will provide bank account statement where she’s got about £2.5-£3k. And I will provide my payslips and bank statements to support her.

Re: FLR (M) ILR to British Citizenship

Thank you,

the point of confusion was - when my wife arrived to the UK I was not British, but before her getting her ILR I received British passport. So was wondering if it makes any difference when I became British in relation to her application so she can apply for citizenship as well.

FLR (M) ILR to British Citizenship

Hi all, My wife received ILR in May 2022 after completing 5 years in the UK via FLR (M) route. She is going to apply for British citizenship but we are confused a bit about when she can apply. Usually the person needs to wait 12 months after obtaining ILR. But given that I (her husband) received Bri...

She’s been in the UK since Jan 2017. 1) Am I right in my assumption she can apply straight after receiving her ILR? 2) In total she was absent from ...

Re: New UKVI APP for ILR question

Morning KB,

I have just checked UKVCAS account and slots have become available for us, even though no email has been received from them.
Luckily I have found one free slot at Croydon on the 7th Feb and booked it.
Good luck with your application.

Re: New UKVI APP for ILR question

Hi Kbthebear, Congrats for receiving the email. Hope to receive ours soon as well. Out of curiosity, did it allow you to book first week of Feb or second week? When you called UKVCAS, did you provide your full details and let them know you are awaiting their email or was it just general enquiry you ...

HI Arthur

Yes exactly this. I am also waiting for an email of invite, let me know when yours comes and i will do same.

UKVI suggests that the invite should come within 2 weeks, waiting that long is very stressful.
Hi Kbthebear,

Will let you know once we receive an email, please do likewise.

Re: New UKVI APP for ILR question

For anyone that has used the new mobile app for biometric appointment for ILR - do you need to upload all the supporting documents within the app or can be done the normal way via the sopra website like before? I am keen on getting my docs on there, but don't want to mess it up if its required to b...

Re: Upcoming ILR application SET (M)

Thank you KVP for your reply, Yes, I have meant “Housing Costs” and I believe those costs are related to utilities and mortgage (as council tax costs are requested separately). I have no problem providing that but more thinking about whether to provide those costs for the last two years or just las...
