True, and that's very fortunate. Would have been awkward if we had gone to travel with it.

Probably someone who received a card with the same error has pointed it out to them, and they recalled the whole batch?

Hi all, today, just about two weeks after receiving her residence card, my spouse received another letter from Home Office. It says the card should be cut and sent back within 5 working days because of an error during printing. It claims the header incorrectly says "Residence Permit" (which it does)...

EEA2 RC - original marriage certificate not returned

Hi, my (non-EEA) spouse has applied for a RC in February. As we intend to travel before August (a close friend is getting married) and her FP has expired, we have requested our passports and wedding certificate, which is in Farsi to be returned including the translation. A week later the passports w...

Re: EEA2 evidence of living together

ok, so we submit:

- phone bill (her name)
- GP registration (her name)
- Electricity bill (my name)
- water bill (my name)
- council tax bill (my name)
- bank statement (my name)

Is that sufficient to prove cohabitation?

Hi, I am a EU Citizen living in UK and my non-EEA spouse is about to apply for EEA family permit from her home country. the FAQ here states: Q2: What do I need to submit with the EEA FP application? thanks. We just don't want to give the impression that we are trying to hide anything.

(edit:)
We are worried that if they find out it might make the ECO biased against us. Is this concern justified? What would the best way to counter it?

should family member's immigration law offenses be disclosed

Hello, my fianceé and I are preparing to apply for a fianceé visa. A family member of hers is an illegal alien in the EU. She had been refused a Schengen (90 day visitor's) visa two years ago, and among the reasons given was this family member's situation (primary reasons were her holding neither jo...

oh, and about the EEA family permit: Can one apply for it from outside the EEA? Cause my gf currently lives outside of the EEA. We had applied for a Schengen visiting visa once and it was rejected (gf had neither job not property in her home country, so they insinuated she planned to overstay). Don'...

fiancé visa or marry abroad

hi, what is the better option, to apply for a fiancé visa (that is settlement/marriage, right?) and marry in the UK, OR marry in my fiancé's home country (outside EEA) and then apply for settlement/wife? I do understand she won't be allowed to work until we marry and she successfully applies to chan...

Hi, the hoops I had to jump through in order to create this account were incredible. Apparently both my DSL (TalkTalk) and mobile provider (GiffGaff) were IP banned. I mean seriously, WTF?! I'm sure you must have had some issues with abusive users, but banning all IPs from major ISPs means excluding...
