I wrote an email to HO and also contacted them over the phone. It all depends on who is answering your call from the HO and some time you find someone very kind & helpful to you.

It's Over six months now. Applied 13/03/2015 and no news yet...... Waiting waiting, April applicants getting approval soon. I would suggest you give them a call tomorrow morning.. As per new guide lines from Home Office "those who will be applying on or after 06th of April 2015 will have to go for Bio metric again"

As Feb 2015 applicants start getting approval, I assume most of jan 2015 applicants got their approval. Who is still waiting from jan 2015 just to update. I am waiting since from 29th of January 2015. No further news? Still waiting...going to be six months in couple of weeks Still waiting, no update
