Re: DOES REDUNDANCY AFFECT ILR??

Hello Amiya,
If you are able to show that your earnings get you the qualifying points for the 9months in the continuous 12month period, then there is no issue. the remaining 4.5 years P60 will justify your economic activity.

Re: DOES REDUNDANCY AFFECT ILR??

Call me a pessimistic but here is my viewpoint. Tier-1 General, the purpose of it for to attract highly skilled talent into UK without a job offer. For ILR application yes it is a earnings based calculator but effectively they are gauging you by "how much economically you have been active over the l...

Re: ILR- Absence from UK whilst unemployed

The implication is NOT just about having a job on Tier-1, it is in their terms being economically active. In your ILR application I believe you still need to show earnings to state that your candidature qualifies for the minimum number of points. So it is in two parts 1. your average earnings for th...

Re: ILR postal applications (excluding SET(LR))

meforsam786 Iam told by reliable sources that for Set(O) application evaluation, HO is checking rigorously the genuineness of employment if you were employed or the company if you were self employed. This is being cross checked with NI, HMRC and other agencies for cross verification. This is for avoi...

Re: ILR postal applications (excluding SET(LR))

Just off the phone from HO. They are considering January applications. However the response was that the applications which are pending is more worked on an on/off basis. They told they are aware of the 06-Apr deadline and trying everything possible to give everyone a fair chance for exploring optio...

Re: ILR postal applications (excluding SET(LR))

Exquisit33: I believe you appreciate every case is different. I sympathise the long wait for you. There are more than one reason for this panic. It is because of some of the visa renewals not available after 06-Apr-15. So for some it is literally a do or die situation wherein in case of an extended ...

Re: ILR Fees to increase from 6th April 2015?

HO will always take the fees / application form valid on that particular date. So don't be surprised if you are asked to pay the difference on the day of your appointment.

Re: 10 years long residence applications

For applying for any mortgage you need passport and your updated residency status proof.
There is no exemption to this as it is per the EU finanical regulation rules. Depending on your status whether you are within immigration control or not, credit score rating etc you can get different deals.

Re: ILR postal applications (excluding SET(LR))

I believe we can fairly summarise that Set(M), the december applications are being considered and Set(O), October/November applications are being progressed. The reason is that I have not seen any Set(O) being awarded in the last couple of weeks.

Re: ILR postal applications (excluding SET(LR))

Dania if it is a second class delivery it is usually a one to two day process depending on when they send it during the day.One day if it was sent before 2PM and the next day if it is later on.Also if it is a signed for then even if you miss it you can still collect it at the depot after 24hours (as...

Re: ILR postal applications (excluding SET(LR))

Iam not sure but I believe Set(M) straight forward cases are being dealt faster on a separate track than Set(O) which requires further investigation. This is what I can infer from this forum.
