actually in India no one cares ....PIO / OCI / Visa / no Visa - you can do anything :lol: it is only after staying here in Western World the Indian people get very anxious about all the admin and legal processes in India. Hello -
any recent experiences at hci london for OCI - how long it takes to get OCI? i dont have PIO card.


And is better to go for OCI or PIO? Someone told me that OCI is not legal yet for employment in India is it true?

I think u r right. But many people told me that if i apply for PIO immediately upon return to India - I should be ok.

There is, however, a requirement by UK home office which u have agreed when applying for naturalisation i.e. to continue to make the UK as your home. Now if you have left so soon after applying and again just want to be here for passport purpose. I am not sure whether other members have picked upon...
