If the University or college provide a letter that the degree was taught in English then no english test is needed. Also you will be required statement of comparability that her degree in India is equvi to the degree here..

dont worry i have clarfied with UKBA as my case will be same as you.. after yr ILR child tier 1 dependent visa will be valid until it expires.... so she can travel.. what date you are going for ILR?
