Request a SAR. https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/requests-for-personal-data-uk-visas-and-immigration Thanks, how long does HO takes to provide record? 40 calender days to be exact, complaint to OIC should they unable to comply. Meanwhile, contact your old lawyer, reconnect. Godspeed, Siraj

Re: June 2014 - Naturalisation Application Timeline

Well 6 months after I submitted my application review request I have been told, it was ACCEPTED!!! :) So soon I will be receiving the invitation for the ceremony! I cannot believe it, it only took them almost a year and a half :) But anyway, the pain is over now, I am all set ... Good luck to those...

Re: British passport holder-still being bugged by border off

Hi, I wanted to know more about your experience with British border officers after obtaining British passport. I personally prefer automatic gates as the computer doesn't ask me stupid questions about where I've been, why I've been there and how long etc and rotating my passport in all direction to...

Re: Unsuccessful applications

Hi all, I would also like to share my experience, I applied in Feb this year with 5 year Tier1 + 1 year ILR criteria. I used Islington NCS where they took copy of originals and actual LIFE in UK certificate. I was waiting patiently when I received the letter from the case worker asking for all my o...

Naturalisation approval taking too long

I am afraid that England has an overdose of useless waffle, from when first applying just for a visitors visa, you will see application rejections for someones belief...That is to say,I or we do not believe you will return at the end of your visit.....What we have here is consideration, your applicati...

Re: Refused British Citizenship due to Deception

Hi smacky, I think Obie meant the policy that Home Office followed to reject the application for naturalisation is not valid, which is : "reopen applications where the application has been refused on character grounds due to a criminal conviction which was later quashed on appeal." And this policy ...

@cool mind They always blame us for "stealing" jobs which is nonsense. Immigrants do not steal jobs, they help fill vital skill shortages and, in doing so, create demand and more jobs. If we did steal jobs, there wouldn’t be record levels of employment UK currently do. @rooibos Vollkommen einversta...

I'm waiting since the 27th of March, with the last contact from them on the 19th of May. Called last Friday and was told that my application was still being considered, but no other information. The gentleman said he could not attach a comment to it and that no further information was required from...

Very sorry to hear, in hindsight - no news is good news. Nothing we can do, but the carelessness of Home Office is really shocking.
