In my view, there's no harm in explaining it in the application.
It will not be classed as a major issue, since salary is above the stated minimum anyway and the job is within the same company as well.

Congrats on your new born! I applied about 10 months ago. Doc of the parent who does not hold ILR is not relevant in these cases. I don't think I sent the marriage certificate. Only what the application form had asked I provided. As I remember it was only the application forms, baby passport photos ...

No, they come from HMPO so probably tracked as some people have had to sign for theirs. Mine were dropped through the letter box but it wasn't second class post.

Oh thank god I got that all important brown envelope too!!!! :D :D (applied 24th Oct as I remember) However it did make me panic as the letter is dated 19th Dec and I only just received it today the 9th Jan! I immediately called the council but only to hear that they have not received the certificat...
