Obviously up to you whether you want to risk your fee, but let me state the obvious, wait with the application until you are back

Maybe I didn't search hard and deep enough!

Anyone has the link (to the rule, not council websites that may state the obvious)?
I think i have seen it on the approval letter from the HO

Re: Travelling After Citizenship Ceremony

There certainly seems to be a lot of posts that are pure scare mongering and not based on fact You don't accept official regulations facts ? Either way, people not getting caught doesn't make it more legal. Sure there is a high possibility nothing is going to happen and the OP can travel and all is...

I believe you need to book within two weeks but need to attend ceremony within 90 days.

Although this is based on the info here at the forums - I cannot find the official stuff about it.

Re: Naturalization application late submitted - Royal Mail F

What does the receiptfrom Royal Mail say, it usually says whether it was posted on time for last pickup of day, not sure about wording, but it is there.

But yes, you likely only get your postage back.

Edit: Under price it says 'Posted after last collection'.

Re: Passport Interview

Not every HMPO does weekends but my local one, Peterborough does with less than a weeks notice. So you may travel, depending on where you are and which office does weekends, but it is possible. In fact google it, you can search on their website for your nearest HMPO and they show opening hours as well

Re: Re-entering UK with Citizenship Cert but No Passport or

I couldn't find the answer so I just sent the lot - no harm - if you want to keep a copy - just print it again. I'd rather give them the option to throw pages away rather than being asked to re-send some stuff. Note: The link will become unavailable once they officially received it so make / print a...

I prefer(ed) online as the application can be followed online. You see when they have received it and processing and you have your reference number online as well - so you can't lose it. One thing in mind - and I made the mistake by not knowing - when you make the application online, it gives you th...

Based on the guidance for AN you are required to send the original certificate alongside your application.

Don't leave yourself open for problems / delays so I suggest postponing the NCS appointment.

Re: Suspect for crime in Scotland by Home Office

After the email, and if it would be me, I'd be in the way to the PFs office, with a prepared letter from the PF to the HO so all they need to do is sign and stamp, merely repeating the email. Or if all fails, print email, drive over there and have it signed and stamped. I would not rely on Royal Mai...
