Once the HO has reached a decision they will send you a letter asking for your passport to be sent via mail! Then if positive they will return it along with your biometric card ! What? No they won't. Once the HO has reached a decision they will send you a letter asking for your passport to be sent via mail!
Then if positive they will return it along with your biometric card !

I was going to request my document back but on the last confirmation page it states : I understand that: - ... - if I ask for documents back, the application may take longer to process; - ... But they take up to 20 working days to answer !

Try to separate them and add sticky notes and make it as organised as possible so that the HO caseworker doesnt make a mistake :) these are not the smartest creatures on earth! :shock:

The HO does not have the right to retain you EEA RC you will be able to get it back after you fill up the online application form to return your documents !

I suggest you send them now to complete your application as this will help prove that you are actually a couple !
Choose pictures with different ocasions in different ppaces on different dates and try to write the date and place in the back of each picture !

The HO will return the non-EEA passport only if it still has a valid visa on it which didn't expire yet. Thanks for your answers. Our FP will expire in early November, so if we don't get the COA by then, they will not return the passport? But if we do get the COA quickly, then they should return it...

Will the Home Office return the passport of the non-EU citizen, or only the EU citizen? The HO can return the EU passport with no issues. The best option would be to stick to the appeal! That way you can make sure the judge will do you justice, on the other hand, if you cancel your appeal The HO will be in a power position where they can refuse your new application so you will have to appeal anyway and it will take more time to get a ...
