Re: Applied for a PR and received a RC

Some update from my side: - I haven't received any reply from the letters I sent to UKVI - I requested a SAR using a pilot where you can get only your IT records (info they have in the CID system) - I received the documents and noted the history of my first Residence Card - In regards my application...

Re: Applied for a PR and received a RC

Hi Jdein, In my case I just spotted the error after I received the RC. So the **it was already done :? My issue has not been resolved yet. Sent two letters (28 August and 21 September) already and have not received any acknowledgement so far. Earlier this week I sent an email to my MP telling her th...

Re: COA FOR RC INSTEAD OF PC

This happens to me as well. i did not note that the COA had the wrong wording until I received another RC.

I believe there is an email where you can request a new COA. Just send an email about their mistake and ask for the COA with the correct wording.

Re: Applied for a PR and received a RC

Update

No acknowledgement letter so far. Sent another letter to the case worker on 21 September and nothing yet.

Sent an email to my MP on 6 October and it was good to know she is the Shadow Minister for the Home Office...hoping it will speed up things.

It is frustrating, but life goes on.

Re: I have been issued a PR card by mistake?

Just a quick update to the case to see how competent are the personal who works on these PR cases. I have sent straight away a letter pointing the mistake on 10th of September to HO. Today (15th of September) I have received a phone call (anonymously of course) and the person that worked on my case...

Re: Applied for a PR and received a RC

Well I have seen the case where the decision letter is saying RC and the endorsement is PR.

Re: Hii please need advice

Your case is too complex for them... If you wrote a cover letter similar to what you have written here, i believe they are trying to really understand your case. Or they might be doing a lot of checks to confirm your relationship was genuine, or they checking you, or checking your wife, or is under ...

Re: Applied for a PR and received a RC

For those who applied for a PR:

Did your COA explicitly mention that your application was for a Permanent Residence Card?

Re: Applied for a PR and received a RC

So i am more convinced that my case was an adminstrative error. I have seen people o short version of COA for RC but it was sorted out later on.

Fingers crossed i will receive a letter saying it was an error from their side.

Applied for a PR and received a RC

I created this post in order to see if there are other people out there who applied for a Permanent Residence Card (PR) and instead received a Residence Card (RC). In order to identify some patterns, could you please provide the following: Type of application: Non EEA alone (my case) / EEA alone / b...

Re: EEA4 fast processing times or wishful thinking

Hi all. I can see that the home office has reduced the forms again to 85pages. And its been updated in July 2015. Now i think the paperwork is too much for them too. PR still waiting. MRSSO I think you should definitely hear something this week judging by the timeline of those who received their pr...

Re: EEA4 fast processing times or wishful thinking

You have an obligation to present your case in a clear an coherent manner. If you are unable to do so, the decision maker may be confused and make adverse conclusion. The burden and onus is on you to present it properly. If you think they were wrong, you can always seek a review. Fair enough... In ...

Re: EEA4 fast processing times or wishful thinking

Speculation from my side...not confirmed!!!! With the introduction of biometrics in April it is my gut feeling that a good portion of staff has been transitioned to the new process and a few is processing the "old way" to clear the backlog. The amount of people is not enough anymore to clear 99% of ...
