Citizenship Referee

One of referees consults for the Home Office.

He was recruited by a consultancy firm (capita) and seconded to work for the Home Office.

Technically, he’s not employed by the Home office.

Can he still be my referee?

Thanks All.

Re: Questions regarding passport photo on referee form

Hi All,

I'm done with filling my naturalisation certificate.

1. Do referees still need to sign at the back of the passport photo as we are now submitting all documents online?

2. Do I have to scan the back of the photo and upload onto the portal?
Thanks :)

Congratulations! Did you submit your biometrics through the app? I got a positive decision earlier today (6 days after enrolling biometrics, Set O). My leave doesn't expire until April next year, so I don't think approvals are closely correlated with expiry dates. thanks for the info Greggytomelett...

It could be that they are deciding nearer to the current leave expiry date. My current one expires 12th Oct october. Is it really the case that the time for decision of you...

Re: Mistake on my ILR Application

Hello Again,

I've just realised I mistakenly selected required to leave instead of disclosing my previously rejected application in Oct 2003,

What do i do?

Can I withdraw the application without losing money?

Can i make corrections on the application form and upload it with a cover letter?
