Re: Removal notice question

If you exercise your treaty rights in Ireland, your non-EEA spouse can not be 'bounced' any where. You can catch the ferry or drive from Belfast to Dublin like thousands of people do everyday. Just because your husband is an over-stayer in the UK will not affect his registration in Ireland as you ar...

Re: Applying visa for Mother

You can get an ownership certificate stamped and signed on official letterhead issued in English from your local Village, Panchayat or similar office. That would be more cost-effective then having the whole title deeds to your property in India translated by a certified translator.

Re: Can you accumulate treaty rights?

To the best of my knowledge, you can not aggregate years in different countries in different EEA countries to achieve PR in the EEA country where you happen to be at the completion of five years. I believe (I could be wrong) that some countries (Germany and Belgium spring to mind) allow a certain n...

Re: EEA2 Surinder Singh 3 Month Success Story

An EU1 card has a lot of advantages if you are patient enough to get it. Your parents do not have to apply a visa called EEA family permit to move to the UK They can travel to all Schengen countries without applying for a visa if accompanied by you. DanChak, do you have any sources that you can tra...

For the non-EEA supporting documents, did you have them apostilled? Did you have them translated and legalised in German? Ho...

Re: EEA2 Surinder Singh 3 Month Success Story

I would suggest that you get all official documents from the non-EEA country like birth certificates, marriage certificates, affidavits apostille from there. If the non-EEA country is not party to the hague agreement, then go thru the series of certifications known as "legalisation". This will add s...

Re: Is a 'temp' contract OK for UK spouse visa?

I would suggest you get a 'letter of engagement' from your current employer stating something like, you are currently working for them since xx for a salary of xx. I am sure most employers will be happy to provide you with such a letter once you explain the reason. That way you can avoid mentioning ...

Thanks a lot DanChak. What documents will I have to show to prove mum's dependency on me? I have a sister in Russia and some real estate in my name where my mum resides at the moment. Re: What is the best country for SSR?

It does not matter which EU country you move to, the application for your mother will be under EU free movement directive. When you move to work in the EU your mother applies for a Schengen Visa for the family member of an EU/EEA Citizen (Directive 2004/38/EC) - which is issued free of charge and in...

Re: Adult dependent case ,need help urgent

Wanderer, This is not a care of circumventing UK immigration rules, but superseding them. The SS route does not only apply to UK, but to all EU countries. The 'centre of life' test is already in the cross-hairs of the European Courts and it is only a matter of time that they would make a ruling agai...
