Re: Spouse Visa, Landing Card Help

Hi,

Yep she's going from Pakistan to UAE and then coming into England.

Ah so even if she doesn't pick up a card before landing she can fill one out at Immigration check in the UK? I wasn't sure if it needed to be done before she landed like some kind of weird rule.

Re: visa application processed but still no call for passpor

Hey,

I would escalate again, sometimes the decision from Sheffield to the VAC is painfully slow, my decision was made on the 4th January and my wife got a call on the 20th Jan. so 16 days in total.

I would call rather than email if you can. Thats what i did and it seemed to push them a bit more.

Hey,

I think if you're working and your income is £12,500 you only need £31,250 in savings not the full £62,500.

Hi, Unfortunately the Home Office need you to meet all the requirements BEFORE you apply for the VISA. It's like saying that you dont need £18,600 to live on but that you'll fin...

Yeah, it would be so helpful to everyone, i think there's a reason the timeline thread turns into a general discussion, I'm sure we could start one now but i just don't want to risk it being locked or deleted.

Hope someone reads this today :)

FAO Moderators and Admin's

Would it be possible to start a thread for spouse visa applicants from Pakistan, we are by far the biggest contributor to this site and it would be really nice to just have a thread to ask general questions and keep each other updated. It would save people posting questions on a new thread that they...

Re: Spouse Visa -

Hi Rana781, No, you're account being overdrawn shouldn't be taken into consideration by the Entry Clearance Officer, as long as you're salary is paid into your bank account every month - for at least 6 months, meaning if you started this job in October and assuming your first payslip was in November...

I.e collection of passport, when I receive documents, when they notify her, when do I get notified and how. Online Application: 05/11/20...
