You may apply for SET(M) from Tuesday, 25 August 2015 and preferably before your leave expires. You may apply for FLR(M) in-time (before your leave expires) by post. Please note that there are new benefits rates effective from April 2015 which will need to be used in order to calculate adequate maintenance levels (this is for those who applied for spouse leave before 09 July 2012 or who are exempt from the new Financial Requirement under Appendix FM).
