Tano Seth yes it can be denied cuz it falls under not being a good character now days they look at these things very carefully in longer run pay it off first then apply for citizenship cuz if you just applied and dint pay the out standing dues they can even put in the category of defrauding the ...

Buddy you should only write if you wishing to stay in UK on the basis God forbid you have any issues in your home country like you want to go for asylum or security issue or any other threats leave it blank cuz that's what I did
