Then you can't count the time for the first work permit towards ILR, the basis of that permit was to work for that company, you didn't work so you get no credit fo that time It would have been different if the company some how was at fault during that period but as you have not provided any basis, ...

Now I see, I thought you were saying you worked for another company. Don't know how the HO is going to react to that. Did that not come up in the renewal of the work permit
Do the home office has the access to check the tax / NI details instantly and online?

How can you not have paid tax or NIN? That doesn't sound right.
