I think it's clear by now that the Home Office never sends any type of email confirmations. At least you shouldn't expect any, no matter what you do.

Guys, don't worry, I just got a call from my man at the Home Office, he sent me a picture of the main caseworker there, take a look, she just approved a whole bunch of cases and she is ready to send them out, she is doing some final checking and entering data in the computer. She is very busy, too....

I went to the Post Office yesterday and they refused to process my biometrics. I don't if I should try another branch and just say the name is correct to see what happens? Do you think it could be a big problem to the application process down the line? I'm just afraid they won't send another letter...
