Re: Pilot scheme centres

This doesn't work like that. You can't swap it. What CR001 meant to say that you can still go ahead with your appointment as it doesn't need to be via your local council. The challenge may be travel involved to Other council. Can anybody please inform if Bristol CC offers joint application for natu...

I am free of immigration but my wife is not. she is my dependent and I need to apply for her spouse visa yet but would it effect her application for visa if I apply for child benefits?

Re: Claiming benefits what rights.

I am settled and have recourse to public funds and have children born in the UK and now I need to apply for my wife (their mother) spouse visa on FLR (M) form. Can I claim child benefit for children or claiming their benefit will effect their mom (my wife) visa??

Would claiming child benefits for children as a 10 years long residency route settled person effect one's spouse FLR (M) visa application??

Mother Visit Visa

My mother applied for family visit visa from NEW York and she was granted 1 year multiple visa. but under remarks it says C-Family Visit and Duration of stay 180 days.

Does it means she can not live more than 180 days in the year?

Please advise

Thanks.

Re: Successful PEO/PSC ILR applications

Hi All, I've only posted once before, asking about certifying photographs, no need to. I was approved for ILR today, it has been a long loooong battle for me and my family, so I am relieved and thrilled to have finally got over this final milestone (I''m confident Citizenship will be straight forwa...

Re: 10 years Long residency on Premium Service

The piece that you have quoted is related to something other than being allowed to apply within 28 days before reaching the 10 years residence mark. Page 2 of the Set LR guidance notes clearly states not to apply more than 28 days before reaching the residence requirement. Please do research the fo...

Re: 10 years Long residency on Premium Service

You must have had a valid visa at all times and not been an overstayer. Prior to 9th July 2012, there was an option to apply for ILR based on 14 years long residence even if the applicant did not have valid visas. If you have valid leave to remain covering your 10 years, this point would not be app...
