I suggest you get another letter from your employer dated after your 4 year anniversary. You dont want the application getting rejected for something as simple as this. better to be safe than........

my letter gave a breakdown of my salary in terms of basic salary and allowances and stated my position. yours sounds similar

payslips and evidence from employer are not necessarily the same thing. evidence from employer can include your offer letter which indicates how much your salary will be. i sent payslips and offer letter (plus other employer letters indicating when my salary was increased and by how much) with my ap...

I believe there is a footnote in the command paper indicating that the earnings requirement will depend on where it is earned in a similar way to the hsmp. The figures quoted above only apply to countries that would now fall into the same income band as the uk
