Re: ILR decision waiting (5 years T1 entrepreneur)

the processing time is open. Is this true? True. They used to say that we could expect their decision within 6 months but it wasn't really a set time frame and I can no longer find it anywhere. Sadly, we can't travel while waiting for the decision, I had to cancel several trips. I was in a similar ...

Hi Abdul,
Sorry for a late reply. Finally received it now after a complain and two MP letters. Hope you get your decision soon.

Re: No decision on my ILR application - next steps?

Dear forum, A quick update. I applied for ILR (Set(O), Tier 1 Entrepreneur 5 years) on 21 Mar 2022 Documents sent and Biometrics enrolled: 8 Apr 2022 Awaiting the HO decision. No complex letter. Complained to the HO on 21st Sep 2022, they're now past their 20 working days to reply and I haven't hear...

Re: No decision on my ILR application - next steps?

Thank you
Does anybody have a sample letter to MP, please? I'll really appreciate it.
If there's a complication the HO tends to send a letter to inform about it, no such letter received.
Thank you thank you!

No decision on my ILR application - next steps?

Dear Forum, My previous topic is locked so I'm starting a new one. I applied for ILR (Set(O), Tier 1 Entrepreneur 5 years) on 21 Mar 2022 Documents sent and Biometrics enrolled: 8 Apr 2022 Awaiting the HO decision. No complex letter. Re: T1(E) to ILR application - various questions

This is not straightforward and I am not totally clear about it. But, if I was in your situation, I would use the date of application (or I don't know) as the end date of recent visa to avoid getting the next question which you can't answer since you actually did apply in time. THank you. I'm not v...

Re: T1(E) to ILR application - various questions

I am not exactly sure of your interpretation. I interpret "12-month period referred to above" to mean the same criteria set out "at least 12 months during the applicant’s most recent grant of leave or, where that leave was granted less than 12 months ago, for at least the 12 months immediately befo...

Re: T1(E) to ILR application - various questions

Dear Forum, Practical questions about the ILR application form. My Tier 1 E expired 14 Jan 2022. I applied for an extension on 14 Jan which extends my right to stay in the UK under the current visa category until the decision is made. I am now varying this application to ILR. Application form questi...

Re: Covid related extension

Question about the online application form:
Do I need to include all the jobs that I created into the application form or only those that I use to qualify for the extension?
Thank you

Re: Covid related extension

Another question about dates: Interestingly, if you get refused, you get the extra time. You can submit a new application within 14 days of refusal. You are an overstayer, but that 14 days of overstay can be disregarded. You are making a totally new application, so the application date is changed. I...

Re: Covid related extension

I don't think you can use jobs to the "date of variation". There is no such date defined anywhere. The only yardstick is "date of application" and that is the date of your first application. So, if you vary your application, you still need to meet the requirements as of the date of your first appli...

Re: Covid related extension

Dear Forum, I'm applying for a covid related T1E extension, after all. Re: T1(E) to ILR application - various questions

Can I use jobs that existed between 6 Dec 2019 and 14 Jan 2020 towards the current T1E job creation? p.s. This was not used to score points for my first T1E extension. But the guidance also says "you can only score points for employment activity from your most recent extension period of leave" - in...

Re: T1(E) to ILR application - various questions

You can use the jobs created in the 12 months before application for meeting ILR job requirements - it does not have to be another 12 months after extension. Is there any reference to support this, please? I will really appreciate any help there. This is exactly what I originally thought and exactl...

Re: T1(E) to ILR application - various questions

Let me understand this correctly. You are now completed 5 years but you haven't met the requirement for job creation for ILR. Yes and I only lack 10 weeks Are you now concerned that even with the Covid exception your extension will be refused? No, I have no concerns there, I satisfy all the require...

Re: T1(E) to ILR application - various questions

That does not answer my question. I asked why would your extension will be refused? That has nothing to do with your ILR It may be refused if I fail to provide enough evidence or fail to provide a bank statement to show maintenance funds for the last 90 days, or any other reason that will not damag...
