The best way to contact UKVCAS is via Twitter. It usually takes 7-8 working days for UKVCAS to tell you about biometric enrollment.

1. If you held an ILR BRP (or NTL BRP) when your child was born in the UK, then I think you should keep the original. Thanks CR001 for the correction.

You are right. The child born in the UK only entitle free NHS / Medical for first 3 months.

Because the child hold the visa so consider as migrant.

So in my opinion medical insurance would be better.

If she overstays , then she may have to pay for any chargeable NHS fees until she becomes British. Consider getting adequate Health insurance cover for her instead of applying for leave to remain. Thank you. We will submit a SAR as you have suggested. It is very concerning that we have not heard anything. In particular, it is concerning that the "good character" checks seem to be taking so long as there is no reason whatsoever that these checks will cause the application to fail or be slowed...
