Re: Questions about spouse visa for my NZ husband

Sorry about that, I was not aware. I have another question, prior to applying. Just about to submit our application but am double checking it beforehand. I'm looking at one of the questions now and wondering if we've put the right thing. My husband is a NZ citizen with an electronic subclass 444 ...

Applicant's overseas child

Hi, My husband (applicant) has a child from his first marriage who lives in the US. He keeps in touch and sees the child maybe every 2 years or so. He was, for a while, sending maintenance money every month but his ex said that he doesn't need to do that now as she earns a good salary. However, he ...

Re: Questions about spouse visa for my NZ husband

So I can upload and he can at his end.

Do we still have to pay £75 to upload ourselves or is that just if their staff assist us?

Thanks.

Re: Questions about spouse visa for my NZ husband

Thanks for clarifying. Yes I'm in the UK, sponsor. He is in Australia (NZ citizen). For reasons relating to the time of getting documents to Australia by post I'd prefer to scan them in here, and he could print out some of our evidence (photos etc) over there and scan them in at his end. If that's ...

Re: Questions about spouse visa for my NZ husband

Hang on, so there's an option to upload to the application from one's own computer? You don't need to go to a centre?! I assumed that the centre gave special access to the application or something, I didn't realise you could just upload your stuff from anywhere! That is brilliant and a lot off my ...

Re: Questions about spouse visa for my NZ husband

Thanks! So they'd just ask to see originals if they had any doubts as to the authenticity of the scans you provide?

Re: Questions about spouse visa for my NZ husband

Thanks for your help! Good point, it could be for a different flight. I'm still looking into the child thing, I'm asking around about it. We'll compare statements before everything is sent off. I need to give him a prod because I don't think he's done anything yet :? Sorry, I don't understand. Did ...

Re: Questions about spouse visa for my NZ husband

Hi thanks so much for responding, very helpful. I'm sponsoring him through salary, not savings. Wasn't sure though if they'd want to see his bank statements for proof of flight tickets bought etc. Good idea to mention about his child in the covering letter. I'll find out if he's still sending ...

Questions about spouse visa for my NZ husband

Just getting things together and I have questions. Does my husband (the applicant) need to provide 6 months of bank statements or just me as sponsor? My husband has a child from a previous marriage who lives in a different country. I'm not sure if he's still sending money over for the child but do ...

UK citizen moving to Aus to be with NZ partner

Can anyone explain to me what options are for immigration to Aus for a UK born partner (me) of a NZ citizen who resides in Aus? I've read some conflicting information online, he's been living there 5 years and I'm not sure if he could bring me over on a partner Visa if he's been there just 5 years ...

Re: The £18,600 minimum

Thank you, I was wondering if perhaps his company could sponsor him to come here? They have an office in England and he works remotely anyway so it could perhaps be a possibility.

I imagine savings would have to be per year so it's £18,600 for each year he's here?

The £18,600 minimum

Hi,

Just wondering, does the above amount have to come from me alone (as a British citizen), or could my partner contribute as well (assuming he was sponsored by work to be here, or similar?)

Thanks,

MG

New to this - UK citizen and partner options?

Hi, I was just wanting some advice about our options. I'm a British citizen, my boyfriend has joint NZ/US citizenship and currently resides in Australia. We've been together a year, known each other about 1.5 years and he's currently staying with me on a visitor visa (3 weeks so far). This is his ...
