Re: Salaried income

If you and/or your partner has 6 months old cash savings of at least £62500 then preferably use that one alone because the way you receive your wages might not satisfy the requirement.

Re: Move to Ireland from UK with Non-EU Spouse

If we both move there, will they consider her time in the UK? Is there any agreement between the UK and Ireland, or as part of the CTA to recognise this? No. Although there is no absence threshold on spouse visa but its holder is expected to stay & settle in UK which is the purpose of visa. Usually...

Re: Japanese financial evidence problems Spouse Visa

Your wife's Japaneese bank statements won't be needed if she is not combining her overseas cash savings to meet the financial requirement. Most recently the conveyance of docume...

Re: 2 Year Standard Visitor Visa - No decision (14weeks)

?? Our travel plans have been completely disrupted and everytime we need to go to VFS for something, it costs about $700 in flights and hotel fees. In addition, the last e-mail from the FCO suggested we apply for retro priority, so we got flights to UAE and booked hotels for the week (5 working day...

Re: Mistake on submitted UK Spouse visa application

There is no longer practice of sending documents by post to sheffield rather you have to scan, upload and dispatch them electronically through VFS centre. Ideal is covering letter which may work.

Visa authorities always advise not to book any flight or any booking until the visa arrive because they are not responsible for any such expenditure.

Re: What can I do?

If DX courier hasn't contacted you then at least you should be known that you haven't yet been issued the visa. If your solicitor was representing you then definitely the correspondence must have been sent to him.
