Re: Advice and Recommendations for albanian and uk relationship

Marry in the UK and submit an flr fp application at the same time. Do not get him to leave voluntarily he will NOT get back in. Agree with the points above about home office discriminating against Albanians. I've heard xxxx in London are good and speak fluent albanian. Moderator edit: The Board Ts&C...

Re: Spouse Visa Appeal

The success rate of albanians getting a visa are very low at the moment - probably due to the high crime rate!! We got the visa flr fp at first tier tribunal and submitted fresh evidence statements from family and friends new photos etc

Re: Marry Albanian boyfriend

Another Albanian wife here.. I wouldn't suggest for your partner to return as he will not be allowed entry back into the UK. You can apply for flr fp with no finanicial requirement if you are married or have been cohabiting for 2 years. To marry you would need to register at a registry office (he wo...

Re: Albanian applying for a uk spouse visa.

Similar case - husband albanian we was refused by home office he had entered uk on fake passport handed this to home office done all his interviews in greek - so he was frustrating immigration rules and had bad behaviour - their words. We won at first tier tribunal our daughter was 10 days old at da...

Re: Marriage to illegal albanian

If you hold greek nationality and have proof of living together for 6 months you can apply in UK for partner of an EU national. Your exercising your rights. I know an albanian who recently got this after being with a romanian for 6 months. They used an immigration solicitor

Re: Questions about marriage visa for my albanian boyfriend

As I said in my previous post never ever heard of an Albanian on student visa so your last post proves my point. Even if he is here illelegally and working illelegally this does not make him a bad person or a criminal. Maybe he genuinelly met you and fell in love. Please dont feel it is all fraud fo...

Re: What visa options are there for my albanian boyfriend?

I have never ever heard of an Albanian on a student visa - have you actually seen it or just going by his word? Alot of albanians in the UK are/or once were illelegal. When you say living together for 2 years - this in for the FLR FP route unmarried partners for 2 years an inside UK application, if ...

Re: Trying to marry my Albanian fiancé

We got married in the UK and home office did not turn up at the wedding. If your application is still pending it is unlikely they would turn up to the wedding as they are still considering his stay. I know of one wedding they have turned up to as no application was entered If your using a solicitor ...

Re: Trying to marry my Albanian fiancé

Hi Im also married to an albanian who was here illelegally in the UK - he now has a visa so proof it can be done. Flr fp will not be successful without marriage as you must be unmarried partners cohabiting for 2 years and even if you marry there are no guarntees. We were refused (despite being marri...

Re: DLR to ILR but seperated briefly from hubby, claimed ben

I am a little confused as you say you were separated but lived together when claiming income support as you had no support but your husband earns £33k so surely he was paying towards the bills. Income support is for single people who live alone and cannot work not for people who are unemployed or ch...

My husband is also Albanian and was illelegal for 5 years. There is a route called flr (fp) with no financial requirement but you must be married or cohabiting for atleast 2 years... Re: Overstaying tourist visa in UK, what will happen now?

It is highly unlikely he would ever get a visitors visa again. Any future applications for fiancée/spouse visa etc they could refuse and say he has "frustrated immigration rules" by overstaying. To ever bring him back in the UK you would need to be earning £18600 or have held over £62500 in savings....

How old is your baby?

Unfortunately believe it or not the home office do not see babies as a strong tie for the spouse to stay

We were refused flr (fp) attended an appeal where home office said baby was young enough to adapt in a foreign country and won on appeal.

The home office have 2 weeks to appeal the judges decision so this delays things but obviously they are very busy too. We had our brp 6 weeks after judges decision.

Re: FLR(FP) Single mother of British child

I disagree the age of the child is immaterial after personally recently going through the flr fp process. I'm British born my child is British. My husband was refused flr fp. We were told my child 10 days old could adapt and live in Albania. She wasn't westernised. She did not know English so could ...
