Re: Just received passport / Need to be present for RC?

Thank you for your reply. Just to clarify, the delivery person won't need me to be present when they deliver my RC, yes?

Good day,

I requested for my passport back so that I could go back to home country and fix some papers - I would like to ask whether I should be in the UK when they deliver my RC.

Calling the HO

Good day, Should I be calling the HO regarding my application? I wanted to ask whether calling them will be helpful to my wife's application? It's been a month now since we applied and at this point we're expecting a COA with right to work. Any help and tips would be so much help and would help calm...

Re: Application EEA2 Sent

Hi, The HO wont be neccessarily sending any confirmation letter to you until a letter for taking your Biometrics. But, you could check your bank statement to confirm wether they have drawn out the application fee. Hope it helps. Cheers. Thank you for the reply. I paid by postal order so now I guess...

She is here on an EEA Family Permit by the way. We are just about to send application for Residence Card, do you think it will be a positive contribution to attach the offer letter?

RC - should I send in my offer letter as well?

Dear all,

My wife was offered a job in the UK via contract - should I send this one as well with the EEA2 (Residence Application Form)? Would it be advisable to do so or should I opt to send?

Any advise would be very much appreciated.

Dimi

Re: Sending to Post Office EEA2

Sending to Post Office EEA2

Hello, I am fairly new to the UK and I am wondering, what is the Royal Mail? Is this just the "POST OFFICE" building I see? And what is a postal order? Is that paid by cash to the Post Office and payable to Home Office or something? I have never done this before and I cannot seem to find much info o...

Re: Wife received EEA FP | Applying for RC

Good day,

May I ask whether it would be alright, after receiving the COA, to reapply for another EEA Family Permit as my wife's permit is about to expire? She does have to travel from one place to another as a cabin crew.

Any help is very much appreciated.

Re: Wife received EEA FP | Applying for RC

Timelines as per timeline thread. A COA is not a travel document. You can review documents required for RC to determine if you can submit any alternative to passport for id. Eg a national ID card. Alternately, some members have reported success with enclosing a letter with their application, reques...

Re: Wife received EEA FP | Applying for RC

A COA is issued automatically as an interim document whilst RC application is processed. One does not apply for a COA by itself. Once issued the RC will replace the COA. I'm not too familiar with the old names but RC is next step. Thanks for clarifying. From my understanding, it takes a month or so...
