So its not mandatory and I can forget about it for now.....? I was just a bit concerned by the bit that implied carry 2 passports then on re entry to the UK send us an NTL form! PRICY!!!!

Hi there I have a ILR visa in my old Kiwi passport, it has no blank pages left so I just got a new one. Couple of questions,,, 1) DO I HAVE to get my ILR transferred to my new passport? or will i be able to go on hols and return several times with BOTH passports? Does anyone have experience of this ...

We wont actually be married until after the UPV expires by one month! can we still apply for a COA whilst on an UPV?

I have been told that you CAN switch in country to an unmarried partner visa as long as your original visa was issued for OVER six months.

Holidaying on a near to expiring WHV

How close to a working holiday visa expiring will it still be ok to leave and re enter the UK with no hassles? My partners WHV expires 2nd Feb 07, we plan to go on holiday to France for 4 days on 8th Dec. Will he get a grilling at immigration when we return or will he easily be let back in?

Thanks for the replys, we are looking to get married but not specifically for a visa so dont want to rush things? If the worst comes to the worst can he extend his visa for 6 months as a visitor visa without leaving and re entering? 6 months would give us that bit of extra time to have more proof of ...
