Re-opening this: how long does the non-resident PPS Number application process by post with the Department of Social Protection take for an Irish property purchase (not the in person process in a Intreo office)? Thanks I have been waiting over 2 weeks already. One week for my brother in law. Like l...

Re: naturalization based on marriage with naturalized citizen

Me and my husband got married when I was not an irish citizen yet and got married in our home country. So it clearly doesnt matter if ur irish or not when u get married as long as u can prove to them a marriage certificate. Thats what i meant.

Re: Citizenship Application 6 week outside Ireland Rule

I always go out of the country every year when I was’nt an irish citizen yet. I usually stay there for 3-4 weeks max. But never had problems getting my citizenship last 2016.
They usually ask for a copy of your passport stamps and identity page.

Re: delay in citizenship application - applied in 2016

Delays such as a year of waiting can mean alot of things. Do u guys have any convictions? Even traffic convictions? Try to check in the garda watch if you’re name is on the database. Secondly, if you submitted documents that is probably not a straight forward application.
