Dilemma about FPN

Hi all, I have read through the various posts about FPNs, however, I wanted to be sure before I provide the input in my British Citizenship form. A few days ago during Christmas period, I was caught speeding 50mph in a 40mph zone. I admitted to the offence so was offered a Driving Awareness course o...

Re: ILR - SET M Bank Statements

I had this issue when we first applied for a Spouse Visa. At the time we used a Company as our application was a little complicated. We were advised to get home printed copies, take them to the bank and the banks will stamp and sign each page. These were accepted no problems. Since then I've probab...

Re: ILR - SET M Bank Statements

I have stated this so many times on these forums - how can they distinguish between the same document printed at a home printer compared to one at the organisation's office. I have previously printed online statements at home or office without any issue for visa submission.

Hi, Thanks in advance for any advice on this one! I have my test on Saturday and I have all online statements for bank statements, bills, utilities etc and I don't have a UK drivers license. Re: SET(M) 5 years ONLINE application - takes longer?

I actually applied in mid-Sept so not that long ago but I am agitated because all my previous visas have been within 5-6 weeks max.

Similarly, HO just provided my employer with an Employer Checking certificate so that's all good, don't know whats taking them long this time.

Re: SET(M) 5 years ONLINE application - takes longer?

It is worrying that for a few days now, no forum member has actually claimed on the timelines sticky that their application has been processed.

I don't think any immigration department is as inept, ill-equipped as UK's.

I am just dreading not applying for same day service. :(

Re: Can you edit online forms before submitting?

I applied online for my ILR (Set M) application. I started the application in mid-August to submit it for mid-Sept. I could go in, edit, save as I pleased without any issues. It is intuitive, easy to navigate / understand (can't believe I am saying such things about Home Office service). I would sug...

Re: SET(M) Application Process

The answer to your questions lies within your personal preference. If you feel comfortable enough, go for it yourself, else pay a hefty sum to an immigration advisor. I recommend having a read of the actual application form, make notes of the questions/points you aren't clear about, search on these ...

Re: SET(M) 5 years ONLINE application - takes longer?

I was under the impression that online ILR (Set M in my case) would be quicker as the different elements - Biometric; acknowledgement; fees etc - are all taken on the spot, so, in theory, should be efficient. I am now regretting not using Same Day Service as it would have been ideal. I have over 2 w...
