Re: Permanent Residence, Minimum Earning Threshold

Thank you for your answers. I never asked or received any public funds. Does that matter for my application? I would like to go for the "workers route" an my solicitor told me that I need to have a average income for that, therefore I asked this question. So presumably it is up to the case worker? I...

Permanent Residence, Minimum Earning Threshold

Hi, I have a question with regards about the minimum earning threshold (about 155 Pound / Week). I have been working in higher education as a tutor and in several part-time jobs related to this sector. Since this kind of work is highly fluctuative I have earned (sometimes) a lot and sometimes nearly...

Re: Permanent Residence

Hi, Thanks for your answers. Just one more wee question based on the posting of ohara: In section 16 of the application to get the certifucate for permanent residence, "council tax reduction" is explicitly listed as public fund / state benefit. Just to be sure: I don't need to tick the box that I go...

Re: Latest on EU citizens

Sorry to interrupt, but it's unlikely that there will be seperate deals with countries of the EU. It simply could lead to a further desintigration of EU. It's simply not the policy of EU to do such deals (and I doubt that this would be according to EU law). Frankly, I expect that they will come to a...

Permanent Residence

Hi, It's probably a stupid question but is a council tax excemption the same as a council tax reduction? I'm currently completing the form for the application for permanent residence and I'm not sure how to complete section 16. I didn't receive an public fund which are list under the section. I just...

Re: Permanent Residence

Hi, thank you but the document doesn't tell me what exactly "sufficient funds" are. I had a German student loan + part time job in Germany (I worked via Internet) and made about 700 GBP. Later I joined Glasgow Uni and became a tutor + pastoral staff member (maybe 300 GBP more per month). Is that eno...

Permanent Residence

Hi, I'm a German student with a big question about the permanent residence. I would like to apply to get this proof (especially before they might drop out of the EU) to get the permanent residence card. As far as I know I need to show that I have been living 5 years here and being either: working se...
