Hi imbuser, I only started my limited company in December. He only asked for an employer letter which I had asked my recruitment agency my contract is via to write, you could probably also get one from your accountant. He also asked for 3 months payslips which my accountant provides me. I took all m...

Jami,

Yes that's correct. I had left the space blank I just wrote in the box please see the attached sheets. He looked at the sheets and then marked 6 or 7 of them I can't remember the exact number and asked me to write those ones onto the form.

Nearly all my absences are for holidays. The only exceptions were 4 days for a work trip and a 2 week trip home to Australia for my Mum's funeral. Most of my long trips were for approx 1 month with most of them to Australia. However there was also one to Africa for the World Cup and another trip to ...

ILR Success PEO Croydon with 345 days absence - 18th July

I was applying as HSPM under JR I had an appointment for 9:30, arrived at 9am and went through security. I was direct to an area wher...

Can't find photo guidance - can someone provide link

On the SET(O) form it refers to the UKBA photograph guidance (version 04/2009) for the photos that need to be submitted. I've searched their website multiple times and still can't find it. Does anyone have a link to it?

For those still awaiting their applications I've just called the home office and they are currently processing applications received up to the 17th July.

Good news for me as mine was received by them on the 15th July so hopefully it won't be too long before I get my passport back!

There's no quota system so if you meet the criteria you should have no problem with getting the visa. Personally I think the application can be done by yourself as it is pretty straight forward and they explain exactly what they are looking for. I would only go through a consultancy if your case is ...

I called the Home Office on Tuesday and was told they are processing applications up to the 30th June. My application was received on the 15th July so it could be awhile yet before I get it back. I've ended up sending an UTR through as in the meantime I've lost my job and no one is willing to put me...

With regards to the divorce if you have a joint bank account I would take all the money out and put it in your personal account which she may try to do herself. Also if you gave her an additional credit card in which the account is in your name I would cancel it so she can't rack up debts you later ...

Hoping someone can help me here. Amanda What I mean with 7.0 or 8.0 is that a student gets 70 % or 80% respectively on his essay. If a student submit his essay on certain module/subject the professor will mark his essay and he will give the mark such as 50%, 60%, 70 %, etc. If U get >= 70 it means that student pass this subject wi...

You won't have any problems as there is no rule stating you have to leave your job if switching from a Work Permit to a HSMP.

Your work permit is now considered obsolete as your HSMP visa is now what you are entering under.

For your dividends you should be issued with a dividend certificate. I'm assuming this is the way you are paid because of contracting. I would suggest you contact your limited company provider/accountant for the information.

Well I've only just received my HSMP a few months ago. I'm lucky as I should have no problem renewing my visa unless the contract market collapses. I applied for the HSMP from within the UK. After approval I sent my passport in immediately to get the EC/FLR stamp put in my passport (also sent from within the UK). Intercompany awards will not be enough. You would have to have received an award at a national or international level. It is extremely difficult to get points for significant achievement.

ViperWiper, There are numerous umbrella/limited company structures and they all operate differently. I've heard Giant are pretty good and guarantee that you won't get hit by IR35 (but I don't know how they do this) Also try http://www.dms-london.co.uk they don't pay you dividends but "bonuses" which...
