Letter received without passports

I applied for ILR set(O) in the last week of Oct and have received my documents back today with a letter stating that passports will arrive in due course. Does anybody had a similar situation and know how long will it take to receive the passports back.

As far as I have read the guidelines it says that if you are currently on a valid HSMP visa u don't need to do anything and continue with it till the end and then after than it will be ILR for me. But I still do need to confirm it with sombody. I guess there are no changes to the ILR process.

Any action required??

Hi, I am currently on FLR under HSMP till Nov'2010 and will complete my 5 years of stay in UK by that time. I will then be applying for ILR. Am I right in believing that no action is required from my side till 2010. Do I need to do anything with Tier 1 category coming into existence. I am a little c...

I am not too sure but in my opinion I think, the 2 year rule does not apply for FLR. If you have obtained IELTS even before 2 years of applying for FLR, it will still be taken as a valid proof.

Can anybody else comment.

Well in my opinion u might not have problems in obtaining the EC but again while applying for FLR at later stage you will be required to submit the English Requirement proof.

I am a qualified CWA from India and I am also of the opinion that CWA/ CA/ CS does not count towards any point under education. You have points if you have bachelors/ masters degree from any university. I got points only for my Bachelors although I did sent my CWA documents just to give myself an ed...

Profession for HSMP

Is there any specific profession for which HSMP is generally given. My feeling is that I have seen HSMP given majorly to either Finance or IT people. Has somebody else got this visa as some other field professional. If yes then can you please let me know the area of experience.

I don't know what do you actually mean by recongnition but I am sure you don't get any extra points if you are a CA/ CWA. Yes you can mention that as your professional qualification and can then refer to that as your skill sets while proving your eligibility for job. CWA's can be considered part qua...

Hi Manav, In my opinion ICWA is just a professional qualification and under the HSMP criteria you just sdon't get any points for that. Although I am a qualified CWA and did send my degree documents but still I never asked for any points and had my bachelors degree for the points. I don't think CWA, ...

hsmpTry, you can use your friend's credit card to pay for your HSMP Fee. I have done that as well. But I would again say that just make sure there is enough credit and also that it can be used for international transactions. If there is any sort of doubt call up customer care and inquire. Yes even I...
