Hi, yes, as the company director and your wife's employer you can write the letter. You need to address it to the relevant consulate, specify your wife's position in the company and, if possible, provide the employment start date, salary and the planned trip dates. The letter must not be older than ...

Hi, your wife can either apply for a tourist/visitor visa if she wishes to travel without you, or, if you are travelling together, she can apply as an EU family member.

Re: Schengen application with less than 3 months on BRP

Hi! Your wife's BRP must be valid for at least 90 days after the planned date of return from the Schengen area. It means that her current BRP will not be accepted when applying for the Schengen visa for the trip in February.

Yes, he can travel with this visa, however, if his Schengen visa states that he acquired it as a family member of EU national, he needs to be travelling either with his spouse and proof that they are married or with a good excuse why he is travelling without his EU family member. In most cases immig...

Re: Long Term Schengen Visa

Hello there, A long-term visa is a residence permit which means that you intend to live in that country. Moreover, such visas are not Schengen visas, they are national visas which do not give you the right to travel across the Schengen zone. What you probably mean is that you need a short-term visa ...

Re: Belgium Schengen visa to go to Spain

I can also confirm that travelling with a Schengen visa issued by one country to another will not be a problem: this can be compared with the international driving licence - it is issued by one country but can be used in another. Your friend may be asked at the border why he got the visa at the Belg...

The processing time is roughly the same at all Schengen consulates, the only difference would be the appointment date to lodge your application.

Re: EU Citizen Non-EEA Famlily Member on UK Visit Visa

Hi! I'm afraid "EU family members" are only those who hold EU family member's card. If your parents are on a C-type UK visa, I'm afraid they cannot apply for a Schengen visa from the UK or travel to the Schengen area without a visa. Only UK residence permit holders have the right to apply for a Sche...

Has your wife provided all these documents (http://www.vfsglobal.com/spain/uk/londo ... pouse.html), including your passport/ID? Because it looks like her application was accepted as if she is not travelling with her EU spouse, that's why she was charged.
