this is my timeline .

Tier 1 (general) 5 years route, SeT(O)

Documents send : 05 Feb 2016
Biometrics letter : 11 feb 2016
Biometrics done : 15 feb 2016
Documents received and BRP received : 13 April 2016

It took around 10 weeks from the day I sent the application.

I have just spoken to the Home office and they said they are dealing with January applications at the moment.

Thank you all for the contributions it is pretty helpful. I wish I had read the comments before sending a postal application.
