thanks
Biometrics done same day as the letter. No approval yet, but I'm hoping it might come this week or next - given it should be a simple case.

Re: 10 years long residence applications

Yes I realise that. However my wife (it's her application not mine) wasn't familiar with the process. She doesn't read forums unfortunately.

Anyway - If anyone else has applied recently please post dates here so we can see how long it is taking now.

Re: 10 years long residence applications

I spoke to a very helpful man at the UK Visas and Immigration contact centre today. Because we are due to travel in mid May I wanted to see what the chance of the ILR application being complete was. He was able to confirm that it was on the system, but after 1 month we still havent received the BRP ...

Re: 10 years long residence applications

It's now over three weeks and still have not received the acknowledgment letter, or BRP or any other contact. My company contacted the home office and they say there is no record of my application on the system. I have a proof of delivery, and the fee was debited, so I know it arrived. Should I be w...

"You are not authorised to request a new password"

I forgot my password and tried to request a new one. Once I entered my email I got this message: "You are not authorised to request a new password". I was stuck. Couldn't log in, but also couldn't request a new password. And of course I couldn't post here or send a message to say I had a problem bec...

Re: 10 years long residence applications

Thanks A. That's worrying. Yes I guess easter and the recent fees increase both are creating a backlog. When you say 4 weeks do you mean total to get the ILR, or 4 weeks before you can ask for a status? In my case I already have the biometric card from my last visa application two years ago so I gue...

Re: 10 years long residence applications

Help! Is there anything that I can do to speed up the application once it has been submitted? I sent in the application on the 29 March. Money was debited the next day but I still have not received the confirmation letter. My work contacted them and they were told they still have not entered it into...

Re: 10 years long residence applications

I've just joined this forum after reading a few posts. My wife applied for her ILR today, 29th march 2016, after being in the UK for 10 years. How long is it likely to be before she gets her ILR? I am applying for a job overseas and if I get to interview we will need to travel overseas in just over ...
