Re: Re-applying visit visa for a parent 4 years after refusal

Hello, As they say, every application with be evaluated on its own merits. But they have an obvious bias against applications refused previously. It's good that not both parents are applying. When one of them stays behind, he/she constitutes a strong attachment to the home country and an incentive ...

Re-applying visit visa for a parent 4 years after refusal

Hi all, I am looking to get some advice/guidances for mother's visa application from Pakistan. I had applied visit visa for both parents in April 2016 which was refused. Fundamental reason was weak ties with home country. My parents are financially dependant on me and my brother in Pakistan. I live ...

Re: Life in the UK exam - result not released even after 3 days

Helpline option hangs up after suggesting to send an email. Which I've done this morning. To be honest waiting wouldn't be an issue, annoying thing is that they said "20 mins" and we've not got the result yet even after 3 days. Try calling their helpline for assistance https://www.gov.uk/life-in-th...

Yes, I tried that but "Results" tab shows no result. I guess it only gets updated when centre has updated in the system which apparently they have not.

Life in the UK exam - result not released even after 3 days

Hello, My wife's LITUK exam was scheduled on Friday 31st July. After the exam finished she was advised that the result will be emailed you within 20 minutes or so. Now it has been certainly more than "20 mins", I am just wondering if anyone else had the same experience of delayed result? Test centre...

Re: Received Naturalisation Approval, Passport “Under Review” What does it mean?

That's call centre's standard reply, they tell you what they see on their screen. I've also been waiting for my passport but for 2 weeks only. In your case, 20 working days waiting time has already been lapsed you should make a complaint so that HMPO can investigate it and provide you more info othe...

Re: Please help me understand this response from HMPO

Surprising, I've always thought UKVI is the authority on application assessment and examination and once they have given HMPO go ahead they just print the passport. Think I was wrong. They confirmed it 2 days ago over the phone that they are aware about the ceremony.

Please help me understand this response from HMPO

Thank you all. I was just concerned about 21 days period because I might miss this but if it is 90 days then no problem. Also, even if I get letter now I don't want to book a ceremony before departure (which is next week). I've read through some other threads that after having attended ceremony one ...
