Re: Days for Citizenship

Thanks everyone.

When UKBA counts 5 years back from application then why do we have to stay 1 year on ILR.

So in my brother in law case he was in UK on 29th Sep 2011 and also on 30th sep so it means he is good to go on 29th sep 2016.

Days for Citizenship

Question from my brother in law :

His ILR approved on 29th Sep 2015 and he is preparing his application for citizenship.

Can he go to counter on 29th Sep 2016 and apply or he have to go on 30th Sep? Reason behind this is because he is planning to go abroad and booking airline tickets.

Regards

Thats correct, upto 2015 Jan only. HMRC dont give live feeds to anyone. Even when we submit our tax returns it takes 2-3 working days to get reflected on our SA account.

Re: ILR Interview Call After Postal Application - Please Hel

Hi all, not a good news. One my friend’s friend has been interviewed three weeks ago and got refusal letter this morning. Caseworker asked him to send clients phone numbers and written explanation why he revised his tax figures. The cw refused him on being dishonest and business is not genuine.

My friend was interviewed last week. It was all about his self employment earnings. Only one question was around tax. He had few invoices from one client so caseworker was discussing the services given to that client in particular.

Re: ILR PEO deferred Apps - Further checks/Additional docs c

Hi guys, since I am due to book soon I thought to get some insight first. I was wondering which PEO center do you suggest? I heard Croydon is not good and people can be a bit cheeky let's say. I heard Solihull, Glasgow and Cardiff are quite relaxed and waiting time is relatively short? Thank you Le...

Re: ILR Interview Call After Postal Application - Please Hel

Had a chat with someone who went for interview recently. He said the questions were mostly around his business activities. Few questions were around taxation. If you know your business practices well which one should, he/she should be fine. If someone earns 30K in 4 months and do nothing rest of the...

Re: ILR ON 10 Year basis (Refused)

Sort this out with HMRC before going for PEO. CW take guidance from HMRC. Dont know why but so many people are now reporting about dodgy employers. Anyone can generate payslips and do bank transfers and P60 from professional accounting software. HMRC wont update your or their records because your fo...

Re: ILR but tax not paid

You cant pay employer tax and NI. Unfortunately there is no way out to this.
Things you can try :: send hmrc your P60 and P45, request them to update against your NI .. Chances are less but give a try

Or file a court case against the employer
