Re: OVER 6 WEEK RULE ABSENCE

thnx Crisbella. This is a useful information. when you were out of the country for 5 months, did you have a valid GNIB /or without it ? As I'm based in Northern Ireland I do not require a GNIB. I think thats part of the reason they would not take any time before my marriage. Up here its a bit diffe...

Re: What are the rights of an EEA national and their non EEA family as per EU Treaty?

Dependent would assume that they require you to give them money to live or if they are ill, depend on you to look after them. In the UK where I am for dependent parents you are required to provide bank statements to show you have been sending them money over a period. You are right that as a family ...

Re: 5 years married and 3 years living in Northern Ireland

Irishfella, As long as she stays under the 6 weeks period I think she should be fine. But I would only do a max of 3 week to be on the safe side. If she does take 3 weeks I would factor that into the time when you apply. i.e. 31st August 2018 + 3 weeks. Sorry couldn't give you any good news! Good lu...

Hi, Before I became an Irish citizen my husband would apply for an Irish visa under the Directive 2004/38/EC (Free Movement Directive).
