Re: VFS Appointment - Surrender Indian passport

Hi all, I managed to book an appointment last week, though in Birmingham as it is my jurisdiction. I have been waiting since the pandemic started (when I obtained my UK citizenship) to get an appointment to surrender my Indian passport. Couple of points to note: 1. If you are calling VFS, especially...

Re: Surrendring Indian passport

Hello, I submitted my online application for surrender of India passport. However I am struggling to find how to book an appointment at either Birmingham or Leicester, as I am based in the midlands. All I can find appointments for is London Goswell and Hounslow. I seem to be going around in circles ...

Re: **URGENT** Wrong IHS calculation -Tier 2 Dependant Extension partner on ILR

You can start a new application anytime, as it is not considered submitted until IHS and application fees are paid. Just start from the gov.uk webiste link again, when you enter the email address you are using, it will ask whether you want to continue with current application or start a new applicat...

Re: Tier 2 Dependent Visa - Main Applicant BC

Morning,

Rephrasing my question, I believe it was on the IHS form where it asked for the visa start and end dates to calculate the surcharge. Am I correct in saying that the start date is when my wife's current visa expires and the end date corresponds to a 3 year long visa?

Thanks

Re: Tier 2 Dependent Visa - Main Applicant BC

Thank you CR001 A couple more questions if you dont mind. 1. The application form is asking for main application start dates and end dates. I assume the start date would be when my wife's current visa expires and end date based on a visa duration of 10 years? 2. My job was on the shortage occupation...

Re: British Citizenship and Passport

Another question. I was contracting as a director of a limited company for 9 months, from July 2017 to March 2018, i.e. after I got my ILR. I was in Tier 2 general before that. From March 2018, took up a permanent position again and closed the company to not have any further self assessments. I have...

My document checklist downloaded after submitting application shows: 100.JPG Sopra Steria document upload portal shows: 101.JPG 102.JPG Only my passport is asked for under the mandatory section, proof of application. Re: Visitor Visa Rejected

Thank you for your replies.

We are going to re-apply again by providing property documents in her name.

A quick question, does the property documents need to be originals or can we submit photocopies.

We are a bit apprehensive to submit originals in case they are lost by VFS.

Unfortunately, you are not legally allowed to.

The only additional job that you can do is one with the same SOC code as your current one.
