BRP RC

Hi guys,

I am applying for BRP replacement and got the stage of booking an appointment. I was under the impression that the biometric was included in the original price (£75.20) but when I was asked to pay (at least £69) to book biometric through Sopra Asteria.

Am I missing something here?

Thanks

a Typo

Hi I just realised that I put the last digits of my gross income the other way around (£xx995 instead of £xx559) on the main application. However, I put this the correct way on Appendix 2. We are about to do the biometric this week and were wondering if it is worth canceling the application and putt...

Re: Spouse visa- Help with application

Help is needed please. (1) I used my email address to start my wife's application on, which shows up in her personal details. is that ok? (2) Is or was this an arranged marriage? So we were introduced, as it often happens, to one another by family so I guess this is considered "arranged marriages" ...

Thank you taffet87, I did not know about category B. I probably should familiarise myself with the appendix.

Re: Spouse visa- Help with application

I agree. I probably won't need inspection report.

Also, I might postpone the application if the new job is too good to miss. it is only 6 months.

I am seeing an immigration lawyer next week and will see what the advice is.

Best

Re: Spouse visa- Help with application

Thank you Jhelumi ever so much for your reply. Just two follow up questions. 1- I bought a new build house (with the help of a mortgage of course). Would I still need housing inspection report? 2- There is a possibility that I move jobs, and thus cities and houses, while the application under consid...

Spouse visa- Help with application

Hi, I am torn between doing the application myself or entrusting a lawyer to do so. I meet the financial requirements and other stuff, but I am not sure who gets to send the documents (Myself or the wife). I appreciate it if someone who went through the application puts it in a step-by-step sort of ...

Passport delays

I just wonder how long does it take to print off a passport. it has been more than 3 weeks since ceremony and passport application still "under examination". Is that their way of saying we haven't come around to it yet or has the council not informed HMPO that I attended the ceremony? Anyone else? T...

Re: The start of job or visa

in 5 years time, things will be all different to what it is now. find a job in another European country (aim north), (a) it takes less time/paper work to get their nationality and (b) they will (likely) still be in the EU.

Re: PEO Sheffield - Variation from Tier 1 Ent to Set LR

I don't know their email address (it might be on their website). either that or write directly (by post) to caseworker/PEO office where you applied for ILR.

Best of luck

Re: Few days short of 10 years

Guys,

would section 3C cover the 10 day gap ? would HO count the day the receive ILR application as the date which 10-year residency is counted ?

cheers

Re: Few days short of 10 years

Just would like an opinion,

it looks like I may not be able to extend my current visa to cover the 10 day gap. do you think I still can apply for ILR ?
