I applied for my wives dependent visa last week and as far as iam aware bank statements shouldn't be older than 7 days and they all should be original

my wife applied for dependent visa using my uk bank statements(i live in UK)...but 7 days rule was applied to her...best is to write to BHC chennai...you will get reply back in 24 hrs..

1)Past 12 mnths salary slipa and past 12 mnths bank statements.
That should be enough as we are not on points based system

Tx.. No..there is no points based system for any person applying for FLR(HSMP) under initial leave to remain.[I.e, starting 2 years of your HSMP leave]. Points based system kicks in only for FLR(HSMP) extensions. I just sent my 2 photographs and past 3 mnth salary slips.Its very straightforward. Rgds

I got my passport stamped with FLR for 2 years yesterday.. I sent my application on dec 4th.. Payment cleared on dec5th.. You need to wait for atleast 3-4 working days before your acknowledgement reaches you as its sent under 2nd class post.So if it reaches HO on xth and if your payment mode is Postal Order,you will definately recieve confirmation within(x+3) or (x+4) days.Atleast tahts what happened to me.

I dont recommend you to call HomeOffice urself because if your consultant comes to know abt this,he/she will definately loose trust in you and this is going to hamper ur relationship in the long run. hello lanwarrior, You might have had a postal tracking number when you sent your application...You use that to track ur application rather than HSMP reference number if its not been allocated yet... Also if there are too many applications with HSMP dept,it may not be sent to them from Payment dept a...
