I have finally received my document back. The letter was dated 20/08/2016. The permanent residence card will follow in 10 working days. Glory be to God

lr2016, I have not receive my PR. I called Home office and the lady i spoke to confirm that the date they receive the application is not the date they consider. She said the date of payment was the date i should start counting from. so will call again on thursday

Lalastica, I have not receive mine. As a matter of fact i have been having sleepless night because of the PR. you should receive your PR before Saturday. Do lets us know as soon as you receive your PR.

I am still waiting for mine as its going to be 6 months on the 22nd of August.

I will advise you to reapply and write a cover letter explaining that your EEA Nationaly was working for the company before putting the date that he started the job and ended it. If you have the P45, you can also add that to the letter. Make sure you explain what happened. There is no need to appeal...
