it is not good, as effectively you were working illegally so IMHO you could get curtailed, of which they yes will notify you and your current employer whether it would have effect on school's license application -- it must generally -- employing someone illegally is not a goo ting, but i think in pr...

Re: Very specific timeline question - Tier 2 extension

Look, if your EFM is solid it should be just under 6 months, although of course one can't tell with the summer surge. It may be worth it writing to HO to explain the situation, engage someone who can write intelligently to management or has some contacts, or at least make a fast track SAR a month be...

Re: ILR Granted refund of NHS Surcharge

To be fair I do not think there is an intention in this system to refund IHS to anyone who later made and been granted a different application, such as the topic starter. It does come to think of it catches out particularly unfairly those who had to make a "second extention" under PBS rules shortly ...

Re: How to apply for BRP without ISD (only have letter with

You can apply for a BRP using an NTL form, it is called NO Time Limit document But it would in you case have to be a postal application and would take forever However i am not sure why on Earth do you think you need a BRP, there is no such requirement. Plenty of people get citizenship who have never...

Re: Am I entitled to housing benefit?

You are certainly entitled to housing benefit, and you should also make an application for a document certifying PERMANENT residence asap, based on the FIRST FIVE years of your residence, or the earliest five for which you have proof of continuously working. It will be the same document you already ...

as a student I didn't have CSI or an EHIC card. I did have comprehensive health insurance through my home country and have proof of this but I'm not 100% sure it will be accepted? Why wouldn't it be accepted? Get an official letter from your insurance provider saying that you held csi for those yea...

Re: Is it possible to have worker status as a student? (CSI)

You can do with proving that you were at the time registered in the Polish national health service and as such would have been eligible for reimbursement of health costs to the NHS (which is in fact a treaty requirement, and physically having EHIC would have been just a confirmation of that -- a not...

Re: EEA Permanent Residence - Absences

You dont need to explain or confirm reasons . In fact you dont even have to list all absences, it suffices in my experience if you include a declaration that you confirm that you have not left the UK for more than short trios and holidays. People who tell you to list all absences and count 5 years b...

Re: PR application sent and wife passport with the home offi

Normally they will link the applications and deal with them together. At any rate you shan't have to send your wife's passport with your application at all, assuming you had been issued with RC previously based on the same relationship, Barnet applies and HO recognises it. The linking is needed more...

maintenance - yes you are correct ultimately pBS dependant rules are much more relaxed than the FLR M rules, so even though you have a choice between the two, option for her to continue as a PBS dependant is there to benefit you. That being said, PBS dependant applications are somewhat more expensiv...

Re: 10 years of employment histroy

Look, first of all you have to relax. Whenever you are trying to meet a HO requirement, you have to ask yourself, first of all, why it exists. It exists because they want to create a Catch-22 situation that catches out anyone who ever worked illegally in the UK. They do not really care when and wher...

can you complain about NCS -- probably pointless, one should simply avoid them because they are incompetent and do more harm than good in all but 100% straightforward cases have a solicitor certify your copies for maybe 20 quid, and apply yourself, if you dont want to shell out for folks like me. LOOK, I hate to burst your bubble but police dont just fingerprint people if there is an unfounded allegation and they are talking. They dont even fingerprint all those interviewed under caution. So it is unclear to me from your description in what way will this appear on the system. "No further act...

Re: When can I be illegible for ILR?

Sounds doable, yes. You do not need maintenance but you do need to show earnings in the 12 out of last 15 months, do not forget about that. Family is eligible only if they are pre- 9th July 2012 dependants, so you would need to qualify "4 years" much more carefully -- when exactly did they apply for...
