Re: Check the status of your application online - New servic

I received the caseID via email just yesterday. The tracking site shows "Reference number not recognised". It's probably too early - do you know how often is this service updated? Today, Monday, I can see my status (awaiting decision) on the tracking side using the caseID from the email I received....

Presence in the UK 5y before Form AN receipt

In Booklet AN, in requirements, it is mentioned that: You must have been physically present in the UK on the day 5 years before the application is received by the Home Office. For example, if your application is received on 20/3/2017, you should have been physically present in the UK on 21/3/2012. Q...

Re: Form AN questions for EEA with DCPR

3. You will only be granted citizenship with the name that appears in your foreign passport. Yes I'm aware of that - and that's exactly what I want. What worries me slightly if I don't fill in the 'anglicized' name in Field 1.8 is HO getting back to me to ask why I didn't fill it in, if for whateve...

Form AN questions for EEA with DCPR

Hi all, I am an EEA national and I have obtained a DCPR. I acquired PR status on September 2015, so it's now more than a year since PR status. I have a few questions before I submit my BC application! Field 1.1 "Please Give any reference numbers used in your immigration applications". I have the Cas...

Re: PR of dual citizen partner

c) All good. Up to 6 months away (in a 12 month period) does not break continuity of residence in UK. In fact a one-off absence of up to 12 months could be accepted for such an exceptional reason as study leave. And by having the foresight to study abroad no proof of CSI is required. Yes, free move...

Re: PR of dual citizen partner

1) Yes, until you become British. No difference. 2) Yes, see #1 3) YES, see #2 If British, you will not be considered as an EEA national under relevant UK law and this is even before Brexit 4) Maybe. How strong is their case as Union citizen in own right? Exercising treaty rights/qualified person? ...

PR of dual citizen partner

I'm an EEA national who has acquired PR in the UK (and DCPR). Within the next few months, should I want to, I could apply for naturalization and eventually become a dual British & EEA citizen. My Partner is already a dual citizen: EEA & Canadian, and has been living in the UK with myself for almost ...

Re: EEA PR - Online application and documents

For the purposes of PR, you need to prove to the Home Office that in a given 5y period you exercised Treaty Rights in some way. This is not a question "What exactly did you do this period", but more like "why should this specific period be a Qualifying period". If for a given period you can justify ...

Re: DCPR application - PR granted - missing year

Silly caseworker...completing the course is not a requirement; as long as you were a student with CSI during this one year it should have counted towards your period of exercising treaty rights. I think there is no official way of having these errors corrected, sending a letter to the same address ...

DCPR application - PR granted - missing year

Here is my story so far: I already received my DCPR last month. To get it, I had provided documentation for the last 6 years (Sept 2010 to Sept 2016) ( 1 year as student + 5 working ). I expected that I would use the period of Sept 2010 to Sept 2015 as qualifying years, thus by Sept 2016 I'd have PR...

Re: SAR for PR date

I did a SAR request using the fast-track method (free, no solicitor) back in the 1st week of October.
I now got a copy of all caseworker notes entered into the CID database, including date of acquiring PR.

It took exactly 20 working days to receive the reply ( 1 calendar month ).

for johnkk: I just got a reply, not like what you attached, simply stating that the date I got PR is the issue date on the PR Card I attached with the SAR. No further information as your picture. I did ask for PR date, not which docs they hold under my name though (not sure if that makes any differ...

Re: When can I apply after obtaining EEA(PR)

I arrived in the uk in 2006. Being employed full time, effectively I acquired PR status in 2011 (5 years of work in the UK). I applied for PR card in May 2016 supplying info (bills, payslips and so on) back to March 2011 (past 5 years) and I received a PR card in September 2016. So at this point, H...
