I've decided to wait since UKBA approved few cases without PSNI clearance. In anycase, if they require, they will send a letter asking for the same.

PSNI Clerance

All Apologies if it is a duplicate post. I applied for Naturalization on 04 Jan without PSNI certificate. I lived in Belfast during initial 12 months of my stay in the UK. I guess I *may* be asked for PSNI clearance by case worker when rest of the checks on my application are complete. Will sending ...

In many languages (French, Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, ...) the acronym for EU is UE. In some languages is even more unexpected (e.g. AB in Turkish!) for the English speaker.
Interesting. Thank you.

However, in all of my Home Office applications/correspondences I have been using part of the "Given Names" as First, Middle and Last names. I submitted Driving License at the Test Cen...

When I apply for my ILR (which is still a while away), I will be showing separate Excel tables/spreadsheets for: - Weekend breaks & bank holiday weekends - Holidays and the total number of days for each. Although there are no rules stating that weekends can be excluded, it may help the Caseworker e...

ILR Success @ Solihull - HSMP+Tier1 JR

We got our ILR approved today at Solihull (HSMP 2yr + Tier1 3 yr + pre Nov 2006 JR, with 1 dependent spending less than 2 years in UK). My case was unique and complicated. Glad that it ended up on a positive note. I had a total of 224 absences and all of them were paid leaves. In addition, I had tra...

Well, I thought PEO will maintain a balance between slots for individual applicants and those with dependents. I can see tens of slots for individuals but none for other category. Most of the applicants applying for ILR would have been married and hence I wonder about the bias.

If I don't select dependents while searching for slots, I can see earliest slot in Solihull on 12 October. With dependents no slots are found. Is that expected?

PEO appointment booking

Hi I am eligible to apply for ILR on 8 Nov 2011. Though I need to wait until 26 Sep to book slot for 8 Nov (6 weeks in advance), I am bit concerned about online slots availability. I tried to see slots available in Solihull PEO for October, but none were available. Croydon PEO showed up slots 1 week...

Hi My brother got his Tier 1 approved in Feb 2009 and his extension is due in Jan 2012. He had to move to Switzerland on employment in Feb 2010 and he has been in Geneva even since. Settlement and Extension Applications

Dear Members I am eligible for ILR on 6 Nov 2011 and am planning to apply in person at Solihull PEO. Since my case is bit complicated, I am not sure if I would be granted ILR on the same day. If not granted, I have to apply for Extension. So, I was wondering if it is possible to book two in-person a...
