Also posted my FLRFP application in August 2016 and still no update from the HO, over 10 months, also called them but was told I will be contacted within 5 working day but haven't yet heard from them. I think you need to be asking your solicitor why they aren't doing more than just sending a reminder to HO. Two years, even for the Home Office, is totally unacceptable.
