Re: ILR Counter When Switching from Tier 2 to Tier 1

Switching from Tier 2 (General) to Tier 1 (Exceptional Talent) will NOT reset ILR day counter. You'll get ILR in one year. :)

Re: Tier 1 Stage 2 Travel Questions

Well, since you've used super premium service, your application should be rejected in the next 24h. You'll be able to re-apply outside of the UK using the same endorsement letter.

Application fee will be lost, but NHS surcharge can be refunded.

Re: Tier 1 Stage 2 Travel Questions

You retain all your passports and original documents. Everything is scanned and verified during biometric appointment. You should not travel while your stage 2 application is under consideration. You may start travelling as soon as you get your new BRP. Since you opted for super priority service (wi...

Re: Questions

You should really stop worrying about things you cannot change. :)

If OVRO officer says it's okay, it's probably okay. I think what really matters for HO is that your current certificate is up to date.

Re: Exceptional talent to ILR - potential issues

It looks like there is no information except the official guide. My immigration advisor made an inquiry about similar case regarding to duration of "most recent period" and amount of "earned money". There are no extra hidden requirements. I think it makes sense. Why would HO put more barriers for T1...

Re: Exceptional talent to ILR - potential issues

Just get one more monthly salary payment from your current employer confirmed by payslip, and you should be fine.

Re: Questions

Did you submit out-of-country stage 2 application for Tier 1 Exceptional Talent visa? If so, there is not much you can do at this point. Just wait for the outcome. If HO approves your application, take your police certificate to OVRO or local station, tell your story and update information. If HO de...

Re: Stage 2 question

I've asked this question using HO email for talent visas. They replied with "digital technology".

I think it's very generous. It means that you can switch to another IT role and still get the ILR, if you want to.

Re: Stage 2 in UK switch from another visa to ET visa

I just wanted to answer the questions of original topic starter. Just in case if someone finds this topic later. 1. Is it only 3 required documents to be submitted at the Visa Appointment center: Current Resident Biometrics, Passport, and printed endorsement letter? You will get the specific list of...

Re: Stage 2: Issuing Authority and Dates for previous visas

I've checked my letter, BRP and entry clearance stamp. It appears that Valid from field in Entry Clearance stamp matches the start date of my leave. And Valid until field in BRP matches the end date of my leave. It should probably apply to all similar cases, including yours. But I strongly suggest t...

Re: Stage 2: Issuing Authority and Dates for previous visas

For Tier 2 ICT you should have a letter from HO clearly stating start date and end date of your leave. Expiry date in your BRP should match the last day of your leave, but issue date might not match the first day of your leave, beware. For C-Student.. "British Embassy in Moscow" should be ok. It wor...

Re: TIER 1 Exceptional Talent: can be certificate of sponsorship a reason for refusal?

You should be fine.

CoS will expire in 3 months and it should not affect your application. There is no obligation to use this CoS or to finish application process for Tier 2.

Home Office sends an email when decision is made. This is the moment when your new leave starts.

It takes a couple of days to receive normal confirmation letter and BRP.

Re: Stage 1 endorsement (accelerator programme attendees)

In my opinion, any proof or recognition in the UK helps a lot, including startup accelerator. As far as I know, both Exceptional Talent and Exceptional Promise applications can be fast tracked. Even if your application is not eligible for fast track, it won't be rejected automatically. It will be co...
