Re: Documents Scanned in Color instead of B&W for ILR

Hi, I might be overthinking, but I have scanned the documents in COLOR and loaded them onto Sopra site. None of the documents is over 6 MB limit and all were loaded successfully, though on the Sopra instruction pade, I have just noticed they have asked the documents to be loaded in Grayscale or B&W ...

Re: Documents Scanned in Color instead of B&W for ILR

Thanks for the info. I think I'd best rescan everything as PDF format and grayscale to be safe. It also mentions "helpful to keep resolution between 150 – 300 dpi". Can't say I know much about this. Did anyone else adhere to this or have to change scanning settings? I'm just scanning as I usually w ...

I submitted all color scans and it was fine.
Were they PDF format? I've already scanned in colour and JPEG format before reading 'scan in grey scale' and 'PDF (preferred)'. Unsure whether to upload what I have now. They didn't question colour at all? Thanks.

Re: questions about applying for FLR(M)

So can I send photocopies of birth, divorce and marriage certificates? For example, stepson's birth certificate (translation) says at the top "certified true copy", and has official's name underneath. So, can I just photocopy this? Basically, do I have to send any originals? Would obviously rather ...

How long has your sponsor lived in the UK?

This question is asked on my wife's further leave to remain application - 3.9 FLR(M). I lived in the UK from birth till 2007. Then abroad until 2012, before returning to the UK. Should I write 'since birth' or 'since 2012' here? Or, 'since birth, but lived abroad from 2007 till 2012'. I'm guessing ...

Leave to Remain - Financial Requirements

If I alone meet the financial level required (salaried employment - category A) as my wife and stepson's sponsor, do I still need to write about my wife's employment or can I just leave her side blank on form FLR(M)?

Re: Separate FLR(M) needed for wife and stepson?

Thanks. I was thinking one form for both as the heading on the front page states, "Application for an extension of stay in the UK as the partner of a person present and settled in the UK." What confused me is that for the original visa application (assisted by a solicitor), they needed to submit two ...

Separate FLR(M) needed for wife and stepson?

Do I need to complete FLR(M) for my wife and nine-year-old stepson? One form each? Or can my stepson be included on my wife's application. My wife has heard that they each need one, but I think otherwise may be the case.
