Yes, legally you are permanent resident to Canada, though you may not have lived there. In this kind of situation, I suggest to just use the address where your bank and other credit statements go. It doesn't matter if you were out for 5 months on holiday. This will eliminate any further queries. If you have given international address to the bank give that international address.

You just need a reference number on the letter to book interview even if you dont have one they are not really fussy about reference number, if you give your name, dob, address they will still book interview if your are on their system.
